About Dible Dough
Dible Dough was founded by a mother with a simple realization: there is just something about cookie dough that's so satisfying. Every time Jolene would bake for her daughter's volleyball or softball games, the dough would disappear faster than she could get the cookies in the oven!
Rather than bringing cookies to the game concession stand, she decided to create a safe-to-eat cookie dough that evoked that comforting indulgent feeling of licking the mixing bowl clean – and it was a hit! Using a safe version of the same ingredients she'd use to make her cookies with, she kept her dough free of preservatives or artificial ingredients, so everyone felt great about feeding it to their kids or enjoying it for themselves.
Dible Dough is proud to be a Certified Woman-Owned business. 💪🏻
Be sweet, now.
What makes Dible Dough Bars Edible?
There are no raw eggs in our Dible Dough Bars and we only use a heat-treated flour so they are completely safe to eat right out of the package. (By the way, your pregnant friend might just name her baby after you if you send her these bars because they’re even safe for those with a bun in the oven who can’t eat regular cookie dough…and you know she’s craving it right now!)
Do Dible Dough Bars need to be refrigerated or frozen?
Dible Dough Bars are available in both a refrigerated and non-refrigerated version. The ones you receive from our online store do not need to be refrigerated at all! They are still made with all-natural ingredients that don’t contain any preservatives or artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners. You can also find Dible Dough Bars in the refrigerated or frozen section of some of your favorite retail stores. Don’t worry…all our bars clearly state on the label if you need to keep them refrigerated.
What is RSP Shortening and why is it important?
We use Responsibly Sourced Palm Shortening in all our bars. There are some products that are made from palm oils or shortenings that are harvested in ways that are harmful to the rainforests and especially affect the orangutan’s natural habitats. We have sourced a shortening from a company that ensures that they’re compassionate toward this situation. Look at the hyper link on our page to find out more. I mean, shouldn’t everyone feel good about eating cookie dough…even the orangutans?
Can I bake Dible Dough?
You can try but because there are no eggs or baking soda in our cookie dough, they’ll just be a flat mess. However, what a fun little experiment to try with your kids and turn it into a teachable moment! Also, we know of one Dible Dough fan that likes to take the Dible Dough Bars out of their package, put them on a plate and place them in the microwave for about 10 seconds. She likes them warm! Please make sure to take them out of the package though. Our packaging is lined with foil and if you put that in the micro you’ll see sparks fly…and not in a good way.
Are Dible Dough Bars gluten free?
No they are not. We use heat-treated wheat flour in all our bars so they do contain gluten. However, we’re working on a gluten-free version as we speak so stay tuned!
Are you working on any other flavors?
You know it! We’re busy right now working on some additional flavors that we think will be fantastic! Please let us know what flavors you’d like to see us introduce next. Send us a message on social or email us!
